The rubric is developed throughout the
progression of the project as new concepts are introduced.
At this point students review two areas: content and
presentation. The content will be assessed for accuracy and
depth of information, and their persuasive argument in favor
of their proposal . The presentation will be assessed for
the clarity and appearance of presentation.
|
|
|
- In small groups students will present their
persuasive slideshow to the class in the form of a
proposal.
|
- Students will answer questions and defend the
proposal substantiated by evidence in the report.
|
- Students use the rubric to provide feedback to each
other. Student also use the rubric to self-assess.
|
- If individual assessment of major math,
problem-solving and decision-making is necessary, see the
Aquarium Unit.
