Month 6
Month 5	Happy Easter!
Month 4	Happy Valentine's Day! At 4 Months, Nicholas weighs in at 18lbs 3.5 oz (95%!) and is 25 3/4" (75%)
Month 3	Nicholas reached several milestones this month. We heard his 1st giggle on Christmas Eve and now he laughs out loud and squeals in delight. We think he is teething because he drools a lot and tries to suck on his entire fist. Nicholas can keep his head level when pulled to a sitting position. This month he traveled to California to meet the Amenta clan. Nicholas especially enjoyed spending time with Grama Carol and Papa Bob. He also liked seeing the beautiful Rose Parade floats with his cousins.
Month 2	Nicholas took his first ride on an airplane. We flew to New York to meet the Shin family and friends. Grandpa Larry and Great Grandma Shin were very excited to meet him. Nicholas met all of his Shin cousins, aunts and uncles on Thanksgiving. He also got to spend quality time with his Godfather Big Nick. Great Grandma Shin Grandpa Larry Nick, Little Nicky & Nicholas At his second month doctor appointment Nicholas endured 5 "baby shots". Ouch! He weighed 14.5 lb. and was 23 in., he continues to be in the 90%tile for weight and the 75%tile for length. Nicholas has wonderful neck control, he holds his head steady when upright.

Week 4	Nicholas started an exercise class with his mom. He enjoys the gentle massage and watching Mamma workout. On his Week 4 birthday he turned himself over (from his tummy to his back.) Rich ran for the video camera and Gina ran for the phone. We are a still trying to get this stunt recorded for all to see.
Week 3               Top	His umbilical cord finally fell off. In his first two and half weeks he has gained 1 lb. 13 oz. and 1.5 inches since he left the hospital. He is in the 90%tile for weight and the 75%tile for length. He has a huge appetite and Mamma can hardly produce enough to keep up with him. So we supplement with 1 - 2 oz. of formula after every feeding.
Week 2              Top	He sleeps between 5 and 7 hours per night. He loves to be held, caressed, kissed, stroked, massaged, and carried. He has discovered is fingers and sucks on them to soothe himself.
Week 1            Top	He can lift his head briefly when he's lying on his stomach and is able to turn it from side to side. He loves his bath, especially when I squeeze warm water on his head. He can push himself up on to his elbows when I lay him on his tummy.
