Centrifusion's technical proficiency was instrumental in migrating GlobalSight's Web presence to a new, scalable platform. The revamped site is a showcase of the capabilities of globalization technology, content management, and systems integration.

GlobalSight is the leading provider of infrastructure software and strategy required to develop and maintain global Web sites, and is also a partner in Centrifusion's Fusion Forward program.

The GlobalSight project involved migrating the current version of GlobalSight's Web presence (www.globalsight.com) to a scalable content management and globalization platform suitable for future expansion. The revamped site highlights the capabilities of GlobalSight's globalization technology, Interwoven content management system, and Centrifusion's integration proficiency.


The finished site uses GlobalSight's System3 software to automate the localization of the entire site into four languages (French, German, Spanish, and Japanese), while content creation is managed by Interwoven's TeamSite product. As content is created within TeamSite and routed for editing and approval, the content is sent to System3 as a step within the TeamSite workflow. System3 manages the content localization process into the various languages, leveraging previous translations to maintain consistent branding and minimize localization costs. Once translation is complete, translated content is automatically sent back to TeamSite. TeamSite then manages the deployment of content to production for all GlobalSight web sites worldwide.
