Distinctive Strengths and Special Talents:

Richard is very intelligent and creative. He volunteers to be the art director and editor for an I.S. newsletter. Because of his creativity, the newsletter has a professional quality. The newsletter is distributed to over 300 Health Net associates. Many of them have given Richard their compliments.

He learns fast and is particularly talented in working with computer tools, such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. He is considered to be an expert in these areas. The co-workers frequently consult for his advise.

Leadership abilities

Richard has demonstrated his effective project leadership. He was very successful in managing a project called MRCC/VRU Claims Inquiry Project. He coordinated effectively various technical and user groups to accomplish the project objectives. He promptly resolved issues. He developed an excellent partnership with the executive sponsor and project sponsor. The sponsors and users were happy with the progress and results of the project - a successful and on-time implementation. I have heard several compliments about Richard in several occasions both from his boss and users.

In regards to others with similar responsibilities

I would rate Richard as the top 2% of his group who has similar responsibilities because he has demonstrated he is a competent Project Manager and a good analyst. He is extremely effective in communicating business requirements to various groups, such as users, technical staff, and team members.
